Guarding Our Youth Experience
In conjunction with the American Drag Racing League
Event Overview: The Guarding Our Youth Experience (GOYE) is a free one-day event held in conjunction with all ADRL National Events. The GOYE Program has 2 main missions.
- To provide young adults with real world driver safety and training skills from professional racecar drivers, law enforcement, and through personal stories from several people affected by automobile related accidents.
- To introduce and encourage students to pursue career and educational opportunities in the automotive and transportation industries. Several displays, exhibits and business professionals will provide valuable information on engineering, motor sports, technical and mechanical opportunities as well as continuing education and training resources available.
The GOYE provides students with a wide range of hands on experiences –plus- valuable information, exciting exhibits, interaction with a variety of professionals and the chance to enjoy a day of automotive and race related activities.
Additional Benefits
The ADRL will provide attending schools with up to 2,000 complimentary tickets for their local ADRL race (valued at $30 each) to distribute to students, faculty and families or to be used as a fund raiser - with 100% of the proceeds staying in the school. Tickets are good for full-day gate admission and V.I.P Pit Access for both Friday and Saturday.
